First Levi sketch redo

Description

I redrew this; because I wanted to lol. I miss drawing Levi and Mikasa.

My first sketch of Levi I did was back in 2013 when season 1 was out and SnK was all the rage. I was just starting fanfiction and everything was all exciting and new; and I had to try my hand in drawing the ever-popular Levi Ackerman. At the time, I wasn't feeling the hype to this character; and I was over "cool" looking chars, that become fan-faves for superfical reason. coughcoughSASUKEUCHIHAcoughcough

But eventually as I began and then continued to follow the manga closely long after the anime stopped. Levi started to grow near and dear to my heart, not for the cool moves, or his "badassness" but for the fact of his imperfections. He's a short man, he had a shitty childhood where he was malnourished, he's not good at flirting, and he's not so young, he in his 30's with terrible dark circles under his eyes. He's been through thick and thin--and while he has is 'cool points' he has terrible points to, and it's because he can be a shitty terrible character is the reason why he's become my favorite.

I see to find and love more characters like him, because nowadays; I seek to enjoy when authors aren't afraid to give their "cool" characters bad, imperfect traits and not "traits that are bad but they make them look cool." NO, like actually bad disagreeable traits.

I also encourage creators, writers, artists to create characters with REAL imperfections. Like perhaps they aren't skinny, or that they have an ugly scar, or that they have a bad knee that acts up in cold weather; etc etc. The more "real" they feel, the more interesting they become.
